The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that the Bible is the inspired word of God. The sixty-six books of the Bible make up God’s complete, final, reliable, and authoritative revelation to humankind. There are other traditions, creeds, and writings that may be useful for understanding, but nothing is elevated to the level or authority of the inspired word of God’s holy scripture.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that there is only one true eternal God and he is the creator of all life that co-exists equally in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is equal with God the Father and God the Spirit.  He became incarnate flesh as part of the plan to redeem man, was crucified, and rose from the grave three days later.  He ascended back into heaven and will be our mediating High Priest on the final day of judgement after he return to gather his people.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that the Holy Spirit co-exists with God the Father and God the Son.  The Holy Spirit is a gift given to physically indwell Christians when they are baptized.  The Holy Spirit is a deposit into the being of a Christian that guarantees the return of Jesus.  The role of the Holy Spirit in our life is to help guide our lives and lead us in sanctification.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that God’s universal family is called the church.  Jesus predicted He would build his church.  The church is simply made up of individuals who have been baptized and become Christians and therefore make the body of saved believers, through grace and faith, and are part of the group of the “called out” of people.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that Jesus is going to return and as Christians we eagerly await his triumphant return.  Upon his return all of God’s people both alive and dead will be gloriously transformed.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that human life is sacred and created by God in His image.  Human life is of inestimable worth and includes the unborn, the aged, and the physically or mentally challenged from conception through natural death.  We are called to defend, protect, and defend all human life.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that all people will reach an age of awareness and will fall short of what God expects and therefore will sin.  That sin required a sacrifice to be made in for the people to be redeemed before God and Jesus was that sacrifice.  Once the person realizes they are in sin they must become baptized in order to receive the redemption from God through Jesus Christ.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that God created only male and female as two distinct and separate genders to reflect the image and nature of God.  Rejection of one’s biological gender is a rejection of the image of God in that person.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that God creates each and every person as either biological male or biological female.  These two very distinct and complimentary genders reflect the image and nature of God.   Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

The members of the Liberty Hill church of Christ hold that marriage is defined as the covenant relationship between a biological man, a biological woman, and that God should be the center of that relationship.  Marriage is a sexual intimacy to occur between only between a biological man and a biological woman that have entered the marriage relationship as designed and defined by God.   The Liberty Hill church of Christ only recognizes that covenant relationship.  Furthermore, the Elders, Ministers, Staff, Deacons, and Members SHALL ONLY participate in weddings and solemnize marriage between one biological man and one biological woman.  The facilities and all properties of Liberty Hill church of Christ SHALL ONLY host weddings between one biological man and one biological woman.
